Therapy is not like a medical doctor visit. Instead, it calls for a very active effort on your part. In order for the therapy to be most successful, you and your child will have to work on things we discuss both during our sessions and at home. It is also often helpful to involve other family members or caregivers into therapy sessions at times to help promote consistency of the implementation of interventions across all relevant individuals and settings.  At times therapy can be challenging, and often requires a large investment of time and resources, but with steadfast commitment and consistency by all involved, positive change can happen! The therapy modality used during session will depend on your child’s needs, your identified goals, and clinical judgment.

Individual and family therapy services are provided by our team of experienced psychologists and mental health therapists.  Group therapy is also provided at times (check with us about the specific groups offered as they often change depending on need).
